The VarioCage Compact is designed specifically for hatchbacks, with a door positioned higher up on the crate to allow for the sill of the car boot. There are very few hatchback dog crates available and we are pleased to be able to provide a safe option for dog owners with hatchback vehicles.

As well as the higher door, the depth of the VarioCage Compact is fully adjustable, to allow you to fit the crate in your boot, while still allowing space alongside for other luggage. The VarioCage Compact is fitted with all the same safety features as out other VarioCage models, with a built in locking system and key, and gas spring doors, the cage is easy to open with one hand, while holding the dog with the other. A second exit in case the primary exit is blocked is fitted on all our dog crates and each crate has a crumple zone, that protects the dog as well as other passengers, in the event of a collision. The crumple zone in our dog crates compresses in a controlled manner, in the same way as the crumple zones in the car. If an accident occurs, the rear seat will not be pushed forward by the crate and passengers and dog stay safe. The VarioCage Compact is a secure space for your pet to travel, leaving you free from worry about the safety of your dog and your passengers.

There are two sizes of VarioCage Compact, the VarioCage Compact L, at a width of 55.5cm for small dogs, and the VarioCage Compact XL, at a width of up to 70cm for medium sized dogs. Both sizes have a depth of 60 – 82cm and a height of 65cm.

The cage will be delivered Flat-pack, assembly instructions can be downloaded.
All MIMsafe VarioCages are fully crash tested at SP, Technical Research Institute of Sweden in Borås with the test method SPCT, Safe Pet Crate Test.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
